Reduced Pomegranate Syrup
Ingredients
Sugar - 2 heaping T.
Red Wine vinegar 1/4 litrePomegranate Juice 1 litre
Corn Syrup 1/4 C.
Directions
"Boil in a stainless steel saucepan until reduced to about 1/2 cup. It will seem very fluid until cool.To test, scoop out a tablespoon and let cool on a second dry tablespoon; you are looking for the appearance of thin maple syrup.
You can try the above using just a small bottle of pomegranate, using tablespoons of vinegar and sugar."
Note: Careful not to let this boil dry…it makes a black carbon mess in the pot!
